The Cuero Hospital Volunteers belong to the Texas Association of HealthCare Volunteers, a not-for-profit organization committed to promoting and advancing volunteer service in hospitals through a variety of activities and fundraisers. Cuero Hospital Volunteers may work directly with patients serving coffee, delivering mail and newspapers, or simply welcoming patients and visitors with a friendly smile and greeting. Indirectly, they serve the hospital by making tray favors for patients and activity bags for young patients, as well as stockings for the holiday newborns. Cuero Hospital Volunteers' fundraising efforts have allowed us to update equipment and furnishings for the Cuero Health system. These fundraising activities include operating the hospital's Wishing Well Gift Shop, bloomingdeals Resale Shoppe, sponsoring jewelry sales and much more.

Cuero Hospital Volunteers have a number of service programs and fundraising activities that greatly assist the hospital. Major equipment purchases, remodeling projects and significant donations to building expansions are but a few of the ways our volunteers assist Cuero Regional Hospital.
Our services include:
- Quarterly blood drives.
- Hospital Christmas decorating/poinsettia sale/raffle.
- Annual volunteer Christmas party for CRH employees.
- April volunteer appreciation luncheon.
- Junior volunteers.
- Nursing scholarships and more!
Our volunteers have created and manage a resale shop to raise funds on a daily basis for Cuero Regional Hospital.
This small but very diverse boutique has treasures for everyone and rotates its inventory on a regular and seasonal basis.

The Wishing Well Gift Shop is a unique little shop with a variety of tasteful gifts for patients and the community.
Stocked with jewelry, cards, candy, toys, and other interesting items, the gift shop rotates its inventory to provide every visitor with a varied selection regardless of the occasion or season.
The Wishing Well is staffed by the Cuero Regional Hospital Volunteers and is open Mon. through Fri., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
