CCH Announces New CEO

The Cuero Community Hospital Board announced the appointment of Lynn Falcone as their new hospital CEO in today's Board meeting. With over two-dozen applicants from a national and regional search provided through Methodist Healthcare's recruitment efforts, Lynn was the final candidate from a field of highly experienced and professional applicants.
Lynn began her healthcare career in 1991 as the Clinical Administrator, Office of the Chief of Staff with the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. In 1999, Lynn accepted the Director of Operations Improvement position with the Baptist Health System – San Antonio, and then became the Chief Operating Officer in the regional office in 2003. She continued her advancement in the Baptist organization with her appointment as the Chief Operating Officer of North Central Baptist in 2008, their flagship hospital. In 2012, Lynn became the Chief Operating Officer at Resolute Health, a Baptist affiliate hospital in New Braunfels. In that position she drove the design, construction, operation, and management of this $220 million dollar Greenfield hospital.
"We were very impressed with Lynn's over 20-year record of achievement in the positions she held with the Veterans Administration and the Baptist Health System. Her focus has always been on placing patients first, growing services, and financial accountability. The Board is looking forward to working with Mrs. Falcone. We couldn't be more delighted about this choice and we know our hospital and this community's most important asset will be in excellent hands", indicated Richard Wheeler, Chairman of the Board at Cuero Community Hospital.
"I could not be more excited about this opportunity to help lead what is already a terrific hospital, with an outstanding level of care by an experienced and passionate staff. For me, this is a golden opportunity to practice what I know to be true – local healthcare is always better healthcare. Cuero Community Hospital is widely known for always placing the patient first. I look forward to not only continuing that reality, but also to use my experience to strengthen the delivery of care, grow additional services, and enhance community involvement in our daily work", said Lynn.
Lynn received her Master's in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University, and her Bachelor of Arts at Coe College, Cedar Rapids. She is also a member in the American College of Health Care Executives and is a Practice Advisor at Trinity University. Lynn is married, with two daughters now attending Universities in Texas.
Lynn and her family look forward to the move to Cuero and anticipate joining the hospital on May 23, 2016.
