Cuero Regional Hospital is blessed to have a strong team of volunteers who play a vital role in our hospital. We would like to extend a warm thank you to the many volunteers who give their time to make the patients, staff and visitors of CRH feel welcomed. We LOVE our volunteers and their generosity.

Volunteering is a choice — a noble choice — that these exceptional community servants have made on behalf of our organization. And we’re proud to recognize our volunteers’ role in improving our patients’ care experience through their service, as well as their support in purchasing much needed equipment and supplies to provide quality care close to home.

Our volunteers give thousands of hours of their personal time each year, which helps us provide quality health care with a personalized touch. We have volunteers who serve in leadership roles at volunteer board meetings, staff our hospital’s Wishing Well Gift Shop and bloomingdeals Resale Shoppe, assist with fundraisers, as well as send snacks and treats to support the hard working members of Cuero Regional Hospital and our affiliates.

Despite COVID, our volunteers have continued their tradition of going above and beyond and have been critical in helping with our vaccine drives, manning our mandatory screening entrance and decorating our hospital for Christmas. If it weren’t for these caring individuals getting involved and giving their time, Cuero Regional Hospital wouldn’t be as successful as we are at providing compassionate care. Our volunteers bring such a positive energy to the hospital as they lead by example — not only by helping our patients and visitors, but by motivating others to give back as well.

We applaud our volunteers and celebrate their remarkable generosity. We thank them for their service, empathy and compassion — and for their selfless dedication to our patients and our mission.
