Cuero, Texas: Goliad Family Practice announced several changes to the medical staff schedule. Laura Brown, FNP, has resigned and Dr. Mark Heard will see patients at the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting August. 13.

Cuero Health providers (both family nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physicians) will see patients at Goliad Family Practice, located at 139 W. Franklin in Goliad, to ensure full staffing needs are meet to see the growing number of patients.

“We wish Laura the very best in her future endeavors. She was an asset to our Goliad Family Practice, a respected and talented medical provider, and will be greatly missed by both our staff and patients. We are pleased that Dr. Mark Heard will continue to see patients at the Goliad clinic and will do so twice a week starting August 13, 2019. We are also pleased to share that several other medical providers with Cuero Health will be adding Goliad Family Practice to their rotation to ensure full coverage to the many patients we see,” said Denise McMahan, RN-MSN, Assistant Administrator at Cuero Regional Hospital. “We are actively searching for a mid-level medical practitioner (FNP or PA) to fill the opening.”

“Cuero Health will continue providing compassionate care to those we serve in the Goliad community. We want to ensure that a high level of medical care is delivered, as well as high touch care is provided to all patients in the Goliad and the surrounding areas we proudly serve,” said McMahan.
