Cuero Health to Participate in Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week, Nov. 1 – 7, 2020

Cuero, Texas: Keeping up its tradition of encouraging employees to follow the highest of standards, Cuero Regional Hospital announced today that it will be participating in Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week, organized each year by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics & Health Care Compliance Association (SCCE & HCCA) on Nov. 1 – 7, 2020.

As a part of its efforts, Cuero Health will be sending compliance tips to the employees, hold a compliance training for leaders, physicians and board members, passing out highlighters with the compliance hotline to Cuero Health employees, as well as using this opportunity to educate the public on the importance of compliance via Cuero Health social media channels. “Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is an extension of Cuero Health’s ongoing compliance and ethics program, which is co-led by Denise McMahan, Assistant Administrator and Samantha Sutton, Controller,” said Lynn Falcone, CEO of Cuero Health.

“Cuero Health has a code of conduct that all employees are expected to follow. Having a dedicated week to focus on topics from the Code of Conduct to financial integrity, as well as provide internal training and refreshers for our team, is critical,” said Samantha Sutton, Controller at Cuero Regional Hospital..

“Company-wide compliance and ethics education, held annually, allows our organization to roll-out new and updated compliance and ethics program policies and reinforce with employees their compliance and ethics obligations,” said Denise McMahan, Assistant Administrator and Compliance Officer at Cuero Regional Hospital. “Participation in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week gives additional opportunity to shine a spotlight on the importance of compliance and ethics and boost compliance culture.”
