Cuero Regional Hospital was also recognized recently as one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the US by The Chartis Group. To determine the 2021 list, the Chartis Center used the Hospital Strength Index, which assesses performance in eight areas: inpatient market share, outpatient market share, quality, outcomes, patient perspective, cost, charge and financial efficiency. “Our healthcare system has made so many progressive strides in the recent years and we have an excellent team in place that has made recognition like this possible. I commend the leadership team and their staff for providing care that is not only compassionate, but affordable to the many communities we serve,” said Falcone.
