Cuero Regional Hospital Closes Temporary Drive-Thru Lab Effective Friday, May 21, 2021

Cuero, TX—Due to decreased usage, Cuero Regional Hospital announced that effective Friday, May 21, 2021 the Drive-Thru Lab at CRH will be closed.
Cuero Regional Hospital had launched the temporary Drive-Thru Lab in March 2020 in response to COVID-19 and in keeping with patient safety practices. “Our drive-thru lab served as a convenient lab collection site," said Lynn Falcone, CEO of Cuero Health. “I am proud of our team that developed and implemented this innovative solution during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and continued its successful operation into 2021. Now we are able to resume the usual lab testing process with our Cuero Health clinics,” said Falcone. “Our phlebotomists and registration clerks were pleased to provide this drive-thru service to their valued patients during that critical time and will continue to offer compassionate care in their lab locations,” said Falcone.
Moving forward, patients will have lab work completed either in the clinic or will receive orders to have lab work done at Cuero Regional Hospital. “Special precautions will continue to be in place for their patients with COVID-19 or seeking COVID-19 testing,” said Falcone.
