Cuero Regional Hospital Establishes COVID-19 Pfizer Vaccine Online Waiting List Form

Wednesday, May 19, 2021

Cuero, Texas: In an effort to streamline vaccine appointment setting once Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines arrive, Cuero Regional Hospital established an online waiting list at www.cueroregionalhospital.org.

Pfizer doses have been requested, and once received, we will notify those on the waiting list to sign up for appointments. On May 10, the FDA expanded its emergency use authorization to include adolescents ages 12 and up. This particular vaccine is administered as a 2-dose series, 21 days apart, into the muscle. Those that received the initial dose will return in 21 days to receive their second dose.

“We encourage those parents of children ages 12 & up that are interested in their child(ren) receiving the Pfizer vaccine to sign up using the online form and they will be contacted once the vaccines arrive to set appointments. This vaccine will only be available by appointment and this will expedite the scheduling process,” said Lynn Falcone, Cuero Regional Hospital CEO.

“Unfortunately, we do not know when the Pfizer allotment will arrive, so we’ve created this vaccine waiting list for the general public to better gauge interest and help us in requesting the accurate amount of vaccines,” said Falcone.

“We know the public has questions on the Pfizer vaccine, so we have also included the Pfizer vaccine fact sheet on our website, specifically found on the COVID-19 Updates page on our website. We want to do our best to keep the public informed throughout the process as the Pfizer vaccines roll out,” said Falcone.

“The Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine is a great advancement in combating the coronavirus disease for our youth,” said Falcone. “We will continue to update the local media, as well as our website and social media channels, as soon as we receive doses of the vaccine for the public.”
