In an effort to protect hospital patients, Cuero Regional Hospital will continue to funnel all hospital visitors, as well as patients, through a single entrance with mandatory screening. The screening station for Cuero Regional Hospital is located at the rear entrance of Cuero Medical Plaza. This is the only entrance to the hospital campus for the safety of patients and visitors and, is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday – Friday. Starting the weekend of March 21 and 22, the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) hours will shift to 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

“In order to continue to allow Cuero Medical Clinic to hold clinic on Saturday and to allow visitors into the facility, we are holding weekend screening hours. Given the additional staff demand these screenings incur, we are limiting the hours to 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. We will continue to limit one visitor per patient and no one under the age of 16. All are required to screen prior to entry to the hospital campus. No visitors after 2 p.m. unless there is an emergency situation,” said Lynn Falcone, CEO of Cuero Health.

The ER Entrance will be used for ER patients only. All ER patients will be screened before ER entry. With the exception of the ER, all other hospital campus entrances will be closed until further notice. All precautions are taken to protect the public and keep within the CDC Guidelines for the COVID-19 virus prevention. All patients and visitors will be screened prior to entry.

The entrance, located at Cuero Medical Plaza in the rear of the hospital campus, is open 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday – Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. These hours are subject to change and the public will be notified if changes occur. Only one visitor per patient and no children under 16 allowed for visitation. This will also be the entrance for patients with appointments at Cuero Medical Clinic Monday - Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday 8-noon. All Cuero Medical Clinic patients will be screened prior to entry. Cuero Regional Hospital staff stationed at the rear Cuero Medical Plaza entrance will ask a series of questions per CDC guidelines.
