Drive-Thru Flu Shots Offered in October from Cuero Regional Hospital
Cuero, Texas: In their commitment to health and preventative care, Cuero Regional Hospital is offering drive-thru flu shots on Monday, Oct. 11th from 4pm to 6pm on the campus of Cuero Regional Hospital, in the front parking lot of the hospital.
Cuero Regional Hospital, along with Cuero Home Health, will also provide a drive-thru flu shot clinic in Yorktown at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Oct. 7 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The Flu shots administered will be for ages nine and up and will be conveniently administered in the comfort of your vehicle. Those with traditional Medicare are asked to bring their card and those with private insurance are advised to bring their insurance card. For those without Medicare or private insurance, the cash pay price for the flu shots will be $30 for Fluzone or $50 for the Fluzone higher dose which is for ages 65 and up.
In order to make the process for those waiting in the drive-thru move faster, Cuero Regional Hospital has uploaded the flu vaccination administration record paperwork to the drive-thru flu event listing on the calendar on their website. Those wishing to receive their vaccine are asked to print and complete this form and bring with them to the drive-thru flu vaccine clinic. Copies of this form will also be available at the event to complete.

“We are thrilled to offer flu shots to the community we serve in the comfort of their vehicles. The flu shots will be $35 for Fluzone or $50 for Fluzone higher dose (65 and up) or no cost for those with Medicare (must provide Medicare card for filing.),” said Keisha Whitman, Infection Prevention and Employee Health for Cuero Regional Hospital.
“We are seeing flu case year round and encourage those in the area to take action to get the flu vaccine. If unable to attend this event, please visit one of our clinics to have them administer the flu shot. Cuero Family Clinics offering flu shots are Cuero Medical Clinic, Parkside Family Clinic, Goliad Family Practice, Yorktown Medical Clinic and Kenedy Family Practice,” said Whitman.
