Dueling Pianos in Cuero Returns July 24th
Cuero, Texas: The Summer Weekend Wind Down Dueling Pianos event is now happening every summer in Cuero! The event started as every other year and moved to yearly given the widespread interest and requests to increase the frequency. And, it’s back on Friday, July 24th from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. at The Venue on Church Street.
“We realized the uniqueness of this event, as well as the local interest, and decided to make this an annual event in our community. There is nothing like it in our area and now, more than ever, I think everyone is looking to unwind a bit,” said Martin Leske, Dewitt Medical Foundation Board President.
The 2020 Dueling Pianos event will take the stage again at The Venue on Church Street on July 24th, with doors opening at 7 p.m. Attendees watch two talented musicians dueling it out on pianos during an evening of fast, funny and unforgettable entertainment. The event features two pianos, each with a top-notch entertainer from the group Piano Punch out of Austin, who will play requested songs. The audience can offer tips to increase the likelihood that a song of choice will be played. The dueling duo covers all music genres, including Top 40s, country, classic rock, and hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. A food court, as well as a cash bar is available for attendees.
“This event presents all the fun of a piano bar in Downtown Cuero,” said Martin Leske, Dewitt Medical Foundation’s Board President. “It offers another distinctive event in Cuero and we are proud to bring it every single year to our area! We will do our part to ensure the safety of all attendees, including social fun while social distancing, as well as opening up the patio doors to the courtyard where the Old Stogie Mobile Cigar Lounge will be waiting.”
“Dueling Pianos is one event where attendees can come casual and have a relaxed, fun evening with friends. Those wishing to attend are encouraged to purchase tickets or their table early as they are selling quickly and we will have limited seating this year,” said Nikki Lantz, Dewitt Medical Foundation Coordinator.
