Free Drive-Thru Flu Shots Offered in October from Cuero Regional Hospital
Cuero, Texas: In their commitment to health and preventative care, Cuero Regional Hospital is offering free, drive-thru flu shots while supplies last on Tuesday, October 8, 11am to 1pm, and Wednesday, October 9, 5pm to 7pm on the campus of Cuero Regional Hospital, in the front parking lot of the hospital.
Flu shots for ages nine and up will be conveniently administered in the comfort of their vehicle in the front parking lot of Cuero Regional Hospital, located at 2550 N. Esplanade (look for signs on how to enter for drive-thru line from Hwy. 183). Those with traditional Medicare are asked to bring their card.
“We are thrilled to offer free flu shots to the community we serve, but must note that these will be provided until our supplies run out. We will have 50 free flu shots available each day to administer. Once we meet that number of free shots for the day, the flu shots will be $20 each or free for those with Medicare (must provide Medicare card for filing.),” said Keisha Whitman, Infection Prevention and Employee Health for Cuero Regional Hospital.
“We are seeing flu case year round and encourage those in the area to take action to get the flu vaccine. If unable to attend this event, please visit one of our clinics to have them administer the flu shot. Clinics offering flu shots are Cuero Medical Clinic, Parkside Family Clinic, Goliad Family Practice, Yorktown Medical Clinic and Kenedy Family Practice,” said Whitman.
