Letter to the Editor - Thank you for Gala XII Support
The DeWitt Medical Foundation Board of Trustees would like to express our appreciation for support of Gala XII - An Evening Under the Oaks. Support of this event ensures the long term viability of Cuero Regional Hospital. Proceeds from Gala XII will provide scholarships for Registered Nursing candidates interested in Cuero Regional Hospital. In so doing, we will help the hospital address the nationwide nursing shortage and ensure our community has the best people serving their medical needs.
Gala XII is the first time we have hosted this event on hospital grounds. We felt this was an opportunity to showcase past projects donated by DeWitt Medical Foundation to Cuero Regional Hospital. DeWitt Medical Foundation would like to thank everyone who donated their time and efforts in coordinating the event. Special thanks to Suzanne Bell, our Gala chair, and to our generous event sponsors, underwriters and auction winning bidders. We would also like to thank the community we serve for their continued support of their local hospital system.
