Parkside Family Clinic Welcomes New Doctor
Parkside Family Clinic is excited to welcome Inez native Cody Walthall, M.D. to its family practice. His first day at the practice was on Thursday, August 1 and he is accepting new patients.

Dr. Cody Walthall is a Board Certified Family Medicine physician with a subspecialty in Obstetrics at Parkside Family Clinic in Cuero. He graduated medical school at the Ross University School of Medicine in 2015. Prior to attending Ross University School of Medicine, Dr. Walthall proudly attended The Victoria College, as well as University of Houston-Victoria.
Dr. Walthall completed his internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas Medical Science – West in Fort Smith, AR. He was awarded Resident of the Quarter by faculty and peers at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, AR Sept. – Dec. 2017.
During his residency, Dr. Walthall received advanced training in high risk pregnancies, surgical obstetrics, diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy and emergency medicine. Dr. Walthall is board certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Walthall is an attending physician at Cuero Regional Hospital.
He is a proud father of three boys and husband to Sarah Walthall. Having grown up on his family’s ranch in Inez, Dr. Walthall is thrilled to return to South Texas to practice medicine, as well as enjoy some of his favorite activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, water sports, carpentry and more. “I am so happy to return home to South Texas with my family. The community has embraced me and
my family feels right at home. I am eager to get involved in the community, as well as grow my practice. I love practicing medicine and serving others.
