Community news | Wednesday, July 29, 2020

Yorktown, Texas: Yorktown Medical Clinic is pleased to invite patients, co-workers, friends, family, businesses and more to help wish Dr. Gordon Barth a happy retirement with a community appreciation parade on Friday, August 14th at 1 p.m. in front of Yorktown Medical Clinic, located at 508 N. Riedel in Yorktown. Dr. Gordon Barth will retire from Yorktown Medical Clinic on Sept. 15, 2020.

Those wishing to participate are to line the road in front of the clinic and pull through the clinic parking lot area. “Dr. Barth will love this show of appreciation for all he has done over the years for this community and we encourage you to participate if you are able,” said Dr. Barth’s nurse, Brandie Puente, LVN. “We ask that you stay in your car, drive by and honk and shout your well wishes to Dr. Barth as he will be outside waving,” said Puente.

“Dr. Barth has been a key to our success at Yorktown Medical Clinic and has been an asset to the patients he has served over the years. We wish him the best as he reduces his hours and prepares for retirement in mid-September. Having Dr. Barth’s level of experience on staff at the clinic has been incredible and he will be greatly missed,” said Denise McMahan, RN-MSN, Assistant Administrator at Cuero Regional Hospital.
