CUERO, TX — Cuero Regional Hospital is inviting the community to celebrate Heart Health Month by participating in the “Cook from the Heart” Community Recipe Contest, running February 1–20.

The contest encourages participants to share their favorite heart-healthy recipes and inspire healthier choices at home. The contest is open to everyone, with recipes accepted through a simple online entry form. Winners will be selected in three categories: Main Dish, Snack, and Dessert.

A prize package consisting of a $250 HEB gift card, 12 Cuero Regional Hospital Café meal tickets, and a 3-month membership to Bfit Wellness Center, will be awarded to the top recipes in each category. Winners’ recipes will be prepared by the CRH culinary team to be sampled by the CRH Board of Directors at the March Board Meeting. At that time, winners will be asked to receive recognition and their prize package. All qualifying submissions will be compiled into a digital community cookbook, which will be shared following the contest as a resource for heart-healthy cooking.

Through this initiative, Cuero Regional Hospital continues its commitment to promoting wellness and helping families bring heart-healthy habits to the table—one recipe at a time.
